PRODUCT DETAILS

Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that has been used for centuries to carry and transport items of all shapes and sizes. The word “furoshiki” translates to “bath spread,” as the cloth was originally used to transport clothes to and from the public bathhouses. Today, furoshiki is becoming increasingly popular as a sustainable and versatile alternative to traditional gift wrap and bags.

Each gift wrap measures 25”×25” and is digitally printed and machine hemmed. Made from Global Recycled Standard 4.0 stain-resistant recycled polyester fabric, each print design is a custom creation by Japanese-American artist Keiko Kira.
The furoshiki is a sustainable alternative to disposable wrapping paper, fabric gift wrap and can be used for any occasion. The cloth can be used to wrap gifts, transport groceries or other items, or even as a fashionable accessory, making it the gift that keeps on giving.
