Blue Lotus Tea from The Qi is a box of nine individually packed whole blue lotus flowers for steeping as a caffeine-free herbal tea. One flower makes three cups, so a box makes 27 cups. The Qi is based in New York, and the flowers come from Hainan Island in China.
Pour hot water (190-200°F) over one flower in a clear glass mug/pot, use a bamboo tong to weigh it down so it's completely submerged. Close the lid. Let it steep for 3-5 mins.
One flower makes 3 cups: after the first steep, refill with hot water 2 more times.
9 individually packed whole lotus flowers per box; about 27 cups.
