Magnesium chloride is best known for being the type of magnesium that is most readily absorbed by the body into the bloodstream. It is often used to treat and prevent low amounts of magnesium in the blood. Although it’s called magnesium oil, it is not an oil. It is instead a highly concentrated solution of magnesium chloride that is suspended in water.

Magnesium oil is applied directly on the skin and absorbed through skin pores where it is carried to our bloodstream to be used by our body.

How is it different from our typical Magnesium Herbal Therapy wrap? We use magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) and magnesium oxide (in the Dead Sea salts) for our body wraps and Bath Pods. These forms of magnesium are fantastic for your skin, digestion, and muscle relaxation while magnesium chloride is often used for mental relaxation, improving neurological health and treating stomach issues associated with pH imbalances.
